The middle school/high school administration was made aware of a potential situation today that was being shared amongst students. The potential situation was regarding the possibility of someone shooting up the school. Administrators immediately informed the school police officer and began investigating the claim. It was determined that a student made a comment about believing that someone could shoot up the school. That was taken out of context and then shared with other students. However, to be safe, we are continuing the investigation and have informed the PA State Police and the Everett Borough Police, who are also looking into the situation. At no time was there an imminent threat to the school or the students.

Dear Parents and Guardians, As you may know, all elementary lunches and breakfasts are provided free of charge, while the MS/HS receives free breakfasts, but not lunches. The Everett Area School District would like to extend some additional savings to our MS/HS students. As of Wednesday February 1, 2023 we will be reducing our lunch prices for all MS/HS students, for the remainder of the year. If your student currently receives reduced price lunches, their lunch will now be free. If your student currently pays full price, $2.25, they will now pay only $1.00 for their lunch. Any al a carte or additional items will remain at their current prices. Thank you
